PRESCHOOL MOVES DANCE CLASSES
Spring Session Outdoors
April 25 - May 23 (5-week mini session)
Mondays 3:30-4:15 ($135)
(Ages 2-5) *Class size limited!*
Creative Movement is an age appropriate introduction to dance vocabulary and technique, musicality and body awareness. Using a variety of music, props, books, imagery, expressive dancing, guided exercises, visuals, and dance games, we provide just the right balance of structure and free dance so students can use their creativity as they grow as dancers -- and of course, have fun! Some examples of class exercises and themes include dancing dinosaurs, astronauts, toy store toys, animals, superheroes, zoo parades, and outer space obstacle courses. Our puppet shows and bubbles are always fan favorites! Our progressive curriculum builds from session to session, laying the foundation for our future dancing.
*A guardian is required on premises during class time, so bring a beach chair or blanket and come hang out!
In the case of inclement weather we will reschedule, tagging on to the end of the session.

Class begins with exploring themed sensory bins, & crafts. Children are also welcome to explore, and play in our play space. Our play & art area allows for everyone to explore and play with space. Class concludes with circle time which includes baby sign, songs, parachute, a themed book, & bubbles. Smocks are provided!

Nature Around Us
In this program students explore living organisms through experimentation, play and the making of models. Students will plant seeds and observe them grow to full plants as well as study insects. They will use dissection microscopes, make leaf prints, and design a bug’s hotel!
Eugenia‘s hands-on classes take advantage of children’s natural curiosity to facilitate learning through play and inquiry, building critical and analytical thinking. In her classroom students learn to generate hypotheses and experiment to experience scientific learning. Students participate in collaborative projects, provide their own input, try and make things. Often, students bring projects home to continue experimenting!
