SAMPLE CURRICULUM

 

Every Monday Ashley emails our families in Baby Spot and previews the curriculum for the coming week as well as the discussion topic for caregivers with relevant articles.  For example, one week this past winter our theme of the week was Exploring Different Textures.  Our stations included soft colorful yarn; pom poms; textured balls; sand; and sticky paper.  Our discussion topic that week was “your baby’s socio-emotional development.”

In the spring one of our week’s theme was Welcome Spring.  Our activities included farm animals in oats; digging for spring bugs; exploring fabric rose petals; and water play.  And our discussion topic was “nighttime sleep and naps.”  Each week brings something new and fun for children and caregivers alike!
