MORNING PROGRAM
Galoop’s Morning Program is designed for young children and their caregivers.
Welcome to Galoop's Morning Program!
Start your child's day in the nurturing embrace of our morning program, crafted for little learners from 1 to 3.5 years. Guided by our Director, Cecilia Matson, and beloved instructor Rebecca Giat Koskinen, we provide a comforting first step before preschool.
A Gentle Beginning to Lifelong Learning
From 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, we welcome you and your child whenever it suits your schedule. Enjoy our flexible drop-in times without the usual rush. Our environment cherishes early brain development, inviting caregivers to participate and experience growth and discovery alongside their children.

Our setting reflects the structure of preschool with the warmth of home, as a caregiver is always present. Based on the latest research, our curriculum encourages free play and exploration. Stations like arts and crafts, kitchen play, and reading nooks promote social skills and independence. Each day includes structured snack times, dynamic Spanish-English bilingual circle time, and outdoor activities in our exploratory playground.

Our Classrooms
Galoop offers two welcoming classrooms:

The Frogs Classroom: Led by Cecilia, for children 24 to 42 months, readying them for the next educational steps.

The Toads Classroom: Guided by Rebecca, for tots 12 to 24 months, providing a stimulating early learning environment.

Morning Program Schedule
9:00-10:10: Free exploration and play with our with weekly themed art projects, easels, sensory table, STEM materials, and our many different play areas throughout our indoor space
10:10-10:15: Clean-up and set up for snack & circle time
10:15-10:30: Snack time
10:30-11:00: Spanish-English bilingual circle time with songs, props, musical instruments, parachute play, storytime, and bubbles (feel free to continue your snack!).
11:00-11:50: Free play and exploration in our outdoor classroom (during rainy or very cold days we will be inside)
11:50-12:00: Final cleanup and goodbyes
NOTE: on beautiful weather mornings we will keep the same routine but move the schedule earlier so we go outside by 10:45 (clean up will start at 10:00, snack at 10:05 and circle at 10:20).
